Lodi Wine Experience was founded as “ZinFest – Wine, Food, & Fun at Lodi Lake” in 2005 by the California Wine Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by the Lodi Winegrape Commission. By creating a multi-day wine event, the Foundation’s goal was to put Lodi on the map as a premium wine destination and spur national and international visitation. At its core, the Lodi Wine Experience is an iconic celebration of the region, its wines, and the San Joaquin farming community. Over the last 15 years, this flagship event has attracted tens of thousands of wine tourists from more than twenty states and three countries, contributing millions of dollars to local businesses and service groups.
